Blue Jays at the plate: Shea Hillenbrand singled and scored a run. Bengie Molina and Aaron Hill each had a run-scoring single. Lyle Overbay walked and scored.

SkyChiefs at the plate: Justin Singleton went 1-for-2 with a run-scoring double; he also scored a run. Wayne Lydon had a run-scoring single, a stolen base and run scored. Sergio Santos finished 1-for-2 and scored once.

Blue Jays on the mound: Scott Schoeneweis made his first start of the spring in place of Ted Lilly, who sat out due to a minor back injury. Schoeneweis pitched one inning of hitless, scoreless ball. Reliever Justin Speir allowed no hits and no runs in one inning pitched, and Brian Tallet pitched two innings, allowing no runs and no hits. The left-hander struck out three. B.J. Ryan gave up three runs and four hits in one inning pitched.

SkyChiefs on the mound: Starter Casey Janssen pitched four innings, allowing two runs and four hits with three strikeouts. Reliever Ben Weber pitched one inning and allowed no runs.

Up next: Toronto starter A.J. Burnett will take the mound when the Blue Jays host the SkyChiefs again Saturday at Knology Park in Dunedin. Game time has been changed to 10:05 a.m. ET.
