On Monday June 4th the TORONTO BLUE JAYS players, coaches, notable alumni, and special guests will team up at The Club at Bond Head for the 17TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC presented by Rogers, Cisco and Ericsson, in support of Jays Care Foundation.
This sold-out fundraiser promises to be a memorable event for all in attendance. Eighty foursomes, made up of event sponsors, individuals from corporate Toronto and the entire 2012 Toronto Blue Jays roster, will enjoy a round of golf on this 18-hole ClubLink course, barbeque lunch, cocktail reception, dinner and an exclusive raffle over the course of the day.

The funds raised from the 17th Annual Charity Golf Classic will directly benefit the programs and outreach initiatives of Jays Care Foundation. Since 1992, Jays Care has created opportunities for children and youth in need by providing access to programs that promote regular physical activity, encourage the pursuit of higher education and impart fundamental life skills. The foundation has made possible the building of dedicated, accessible, safe youth spaces for recreational programming, inspiring engagement through the sport of baseball. In 2011 alone, Jays Care contributed more than $1.4 million to initiatives and facilities across Ontario and beyond, and provided 17,000 kids access to vital programs and services through Field of Dreams funding, Grand Slam Grants, the Home Run Scholars program and Rookie League camps.
