The Blue Jays reinstated pitcher Robert Coello from the 60-day disabled list on Tuesday and outrighted the right-hander off their 40-man roster.
Coello signed with Toronto as a free agent last December and made six relief appearances for the club in June, going 0-1 with a 12.79 ERA over 6 1/3 innings. The 27-year-old also pitched in 19 games -- starting three -- for Triple-A Las Vegas, posting a 4-1 record and a 3.00 ERA.
The Blue Jays placed Coello on the 15-day DL on June 25 with elbow inflammation and transferred him to the 60-day list on July 20.
