Blue Jays announce 2013 promotion schedule
TORONTO -- The Blue Jays announced their promotions schedule for the 2013 season on Friday afternoon, and it will include three bobblehead days plus the return of Jr. Jays Saturdays.

The promotions begin with Honda Opening Night on April 2, when the Blue Jays take on the Cleveland Indians at 7:07 p.m. ET. All fans will receive a 2013 Blue Jays magnet schedule. Magnet schedules will also be distributed to 10,000 fans at each of the next two games, April 3-4.

The first bobblehead day will take place on April 21 and is set to feature first baseman/designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion. Catcher J.P. Arencibia will then have a bobblehead day on July 7, with a special Canada Baseball Day taking place on Aug. 11, and which will include a bobblehead for third baseman Brett Lawrie.

Toronto is also set to honor recent acquisition Jose Reyes with a collective figurine day on June 9. All of the promotions will be handed out to the first 20,000 fans who enter through the gates at Rogers Centre.

The biggest celebration will take place on July 21, when first baseman Carlos Delgado gets indicted on the Blue Jays' Level of Excellence. The all-time club leader in doubles, home runs and RBIs will be honored in a pregame ceremony, and the first 20,000 fans will receive a commemorative Delgado baseball.
