Blue Jays promote Bush


The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have selected the contract of RHP DAVID BUSH from Buffalo of the International League (AAA). RHP JEREMY JEFFRESS has been designated for assignment.

BUSH, 33, returns to the club after spending 2002-2005 within the Blue Jays organization. The Pittsburgh, PA native has a career 56-69 record with a 4.70 ERA in 210 games (187 starts) for Toronto and Milwaukee. In seven spring appearances (one start), Bush posted a 3-1 record with a 6.23 ERA.
