Roberto Alomar to launch Club 12 in support of Jays Care

During the 2014 TORONTO BLUE JAYS season, Hall-of-Famer ROBERTO ALOMAR will launch CLUB 12, an elite, members only club offering unparalleled access to enjoy the very best in travel, hospitality, baseball, and best of all, the world of the TORONTO BLUE JAYS.

Club 12 members will join Alomar and other Blue Jays Alumni for a number of engagements, including a Club 12 welcome reception, a three-night trip to Puerto Rico, and an opportunity to utilize the Roberto Alomar Hall of Fame luxury suite at Rogers Centre during a Blue Jays regular season game. Funds raised through Club 12 memberships will go towards JAYS CARE FOUNDATION Field of Dreams capital initiatives across Canada, as well as providing access to baseball in under-resourced communities in Canada and Puerto Rico and opportunities for amateur athletes through TOURNAMENT 12.

"Club 12 is something that is very unique," says Blue Jays alumni, Hall-of-Famer and Club 12 Founder, Roberto Alomar. "Members will have the chance to get to spend some time with me and other Blue Jays alums, and help us make a difference for kids in communities across Canada and in my native Puerto Rico."

"Robbie has an undeniable legacy in baseball as a Hall of Fame second baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays, but his commitment to kids and communities across Canada and Puerto Rico, his passion to provide opportunities through the sport, and his kindness and generosity of spirit make him great well beyond the diamond," said KEITH PELLEY, President, Rogers Media and Board Director, Jays Care. "Club 12 will provide exclusive access and opportunities for members, with proceeds going to create safe spaces for play and provide opportunities for under resourced kids to get in the game."
