Blue Jays recall Mills


The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have selected the contract of LHP BRAD MILLS from Buffalo of the International League (AAA) and optioned 2B RYAN GOINS to the Bisons.

MILLS, 29, has posted a 1-1 record with a 7.85 ERA in four games (three starts) with Oakland and Toronto this season. At the AAA level this season, the left-hander has recorded a 5-2 mark with a 1.56 ERA in 17 games (15 starts) for Nashville and Buffalo.

GOINS, 26, is batting .200 for the Blue Jays with one home run and 11 RBI in 42 contests. He returns to the Bisons where he has batted .285 with 16 extra base hits in 79 games.
